Tlhago Ya Africa means Africa’s Nature in Setswana. Tlhago is an emerging Emission Control and Environmental Services Company, based in Rustenburg, North West Province of South Africa.

Tlhago seeks to secure a Joint Venture Partnership with an International Technical Investor to manufacture Catalytic Converters and Diesel Particulate Filters to be offered to the growing South African economy, the African Continent as well as Global Export Markets in the following sectors;

  • Automotive
  • Mining and Refining
  • Power Generation
  • Construction and Earthmoving Equipment

Stakeholders involved in facilitating the project are;

  • The Platinum Trust of South Africa (Access to PGM raw materials)
  • The Department of Trade and Industry (Foreign Investment Incentives)
  • Invest North West (Access to Production Land)

The company was founded by two entrepreneurs with diverse but complementary skills which are harmonized to achieve common objectives and benefits for all stakeholders.

Thapelo Tlhone – Technical

Thapelo qualified as a Chemical Engineer from the University of Cape Town. He completed his thesis project through an exchange program at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada under the supervision of Professor Janusz Laskowski. Operational exposure in the Mining Industry harnessed skills in Process Optimisation and more experience in Health, Safety and Environmental Management. Having served diligently in the South African mining sector as a Chemical Engineer for four years, Thapelo is now an entrepreneur in the Alternative Energy Solutions and Emissions Controls Products Industries.

Seitebatso Rakgokong – Commercial

Seitebatso has qualified in Marketing and Business Management. He started his career in Brand Advertising and Communication before moving into the Automotive sector. Here he served in a number of Marketing and sales positions with a leading automotive company. He is currently involved in entrepreneurial ventures within the Alternative Energy Solutions, Emissions Controls Products and Construction Industries.
